Hey Everybody it's Moomba Week - 2004!

Since the last Moomba Week was such a
success,we thought we'd do another!

Announcing Moomba Week II!

Jill and Alan made it to Wanna's late that Monday Evening. Jill's commentary on the trip is below:

The next day was out day for antiques. Anything older than us, we consider an antique!!!! We ate at the restaurant where we usually go. Well, they changed the menu, but that didn't stop Wanna. She had them fix her usual "stuffed French toast," even though it wasn't on the menu!! I wasn't that lucky! I hadn't been to the Wanna's finishing school for floozies yet!!! I will explain how that went later!!

We looked around and wore out quicker than we wanted to...our shopping time gets shorter and shorter each year!! The photo's of the building of the man with angel wings was in Frederick Maryland. The window beside the man has a dove or some type of bird sitting on the window ledge. Well, all three of us were walking across the street talking about how still that bird was sitting. Then we get across the street and find out the bird is painted on the wall...along with the man in the window...and the lower windows!!! LOL!!

We went and ate dinner before going back to Wanna's. Well, it didn't stop the fatigue, but it did make our minds work a little quicker...or sillier...not sure which!!!! Wanna had Alan take us to a "Everything for a dollar" store...soooo we go inside...and look at the scrapbooking supplies...

Wanna starts complaining about the papers being so nice but the price is not marked on anything. People stop by and tell us, "Everything is a dollar." She would say, "Really! That's great, but, nothing is marked." After about 20 minutes of complaining, I got so "slap happy" I couldn't stop laughing. She kept it up. I would offer to go look for someone to come help us. A businessman came by and looked at us like we were "off" or something. Women would stop by to explain the store to us, etc. Alan came in and was ready to shoot us!!

Now I need to explain the Wanna's graduate school for floozies...Wanna showed me"how you walk out a door"...cane in hand...sunglasses...the walk...the way to throw the boa around your neck...the way to twirl it around in your hand while flirting...etc. I was so tired. I am thankful for having the digital camera with me so Alan could make our pictures. I was worried that I might not remember the proper way to flirt like she does!!! (Remember...she was the one who was able to get the waiter to fix the meal that wasn't on the menu.)

Wanna...boy do I look up to Wanna!!!!

Well, that is the end of Moomba Week! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
