Hi All,
It is Saturday morning and we will be traveling to the other side of North Dakota today. Our goal is to spend some time at a park in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Northern part of the Badlands.
We crossed the Continental Divide yesterday. We have crossed the central part at two points (East and West) the North / South Divide and now the lower divide in North Dakota. The trip is filled with wonder and much fascination in the many towns we pass through and stay at for a night or two.
This email is designed to catch you up on our trip to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. We spent most of our time with Shelley and Gene and then we had some quiet time with a wonderful dinner and great company. This was cut short only by a massive thunder and lightning storm and we felt we needed to get back to the pups in the RV at that time.
I will attach a couple of pictures that will show you Gene and Shelley as well as Webster (who I might add fell in love with me and wanted me to stay and... well you know) It was a good time with lots of laughs but as I said, much, much too short.
Shelley and Gene were wonderful to visit with and she even allowed me to try and crash her computer, try as hard as I could, she has too many safeguards built in so all I could do is get her to help me fix my AOL mail. All this time, and we saw that the settings were right, just AOL was wacked and so the mail was getting kicked back by many but not by a few. Go figure.
Well, here are the visit pictures.
Karol and Webster (Webster trying to snag her earrings... wonder where she learned that trick LOL)
Webster and I watching dinner, reading a cookbook, not sure if she was trying to keep me happy or save her from the next dinner, especially when Gene showed us the Cornish Game in the fridge. LOL
Webster --- Fear No Evil.
Gene, Shelley and of course Webster.
Will write more from the next stop, and hopefully mail from there also.
Take care,
Happy Trails to you all,
Don, Karol and the kids.
