Hi all,
Well, we did not have a modem hookup where we stayed on day one so, I was gonna email on day 2 but, we ate dinner and I fell fast asleep.
Now, it is day 3; we are having a wonderful trip. Today we are staying on top of the Continental Divide in Wyoming. Elevation 7,000 feet. The temp tonight is dipping into the teens so we are using all the tank heaters and the water is tuned off at the spout.
It was a great day for driving, I drove the first part of 230 miles and Karol finished up with another 208. Karol would have liked to gone to Laramie but here we are. This place is quite beautiful. Karol is outside now taking a picture of the beautiful sunset.
We have no idea where we are going for day four. We have discussed just going to a nice place to fiddle fart around for the day. The pups loved yesterday. Not many miles but, a wonderful place to stay and they had a great off leash fenced in area to play. They sure did take full advantage of that. They were so tired today that we drove the first 200 miles without any of them making a fuss.
We did think the RV would be too small with 4 dogs. LOL They know how to make themselves comfortable and they share the bed at night with us. Nice to have a place to sleep. Course we do turn the table into a bed and some sleep there and of course Brandy jumps into the foot of the bed with us. A revolt will soon happen. LOL Miah is getting jealous.
Well, that is sorta a picture of life in the RV and I could never find the words to describe the trip so along with this email will be a couple of shots to highlight our day.
Karol just came back in and said we were in for the night, it is too cold.
Just one last note, Karol got out at a place to go to the visitors center. She walked a few feet from the RV and a Prairie Dog was just standing there looking at her. She just froze and I am not sure who was more in shock, her or the Prairie Dog. LOL
I can hardly wait to get her to the hot air balloon festival in New Mexico. That is another trip...... Maybe. LOL
Take care and have a great day,
Don and Karol and Company
